It is made of silk shantung and trimmed in black silk. There is some wear to the black silk on one cuff. There are scattered small spots and small holes and some wear from age. The tabs on the back have come loose and need to be reattached. See photos. The waist is 47 inches, the bust is 48 inches and the hips will fit up to 54 inches. The sleeves are 26 inches long and the shoulders are 17 inches across. The length from the back neckline to the hem is 51.5 inches. The fabric is still soft and supple and the coat could be worn if you don’t mind the vintage patina. And as always with clothing of this age, you have to take care when you do wear it.
