This cute skirt is made from a beautiful feeling cotton. It’s smooth in front and pleated around the back with the pleats sewn in place about 2 inches down from the waistband. It has been tapered with, the button was moved over making the waistband larger, but throwing off the line of the buttons, if you put it back, waist is about 29 inches. Horrible snaps were added, as well as a piece of elastic that seems to do nothing. Seam binding was added on the back of the waist and there is no hem. It measures 29 if put back to where it should be around the waist, hips full and it’s 31 1/2 inches long, I have a feeling this might have been a maxi skirt, there is a blouse in progress from the same fabric, that will be included. They were going for a peasant look, but no elastic in the neckline and wrists, also no closures down the front.
