It is in very nice condition except for a few holes in the lace peplum, which you do not see unless you stretch it out. The Tulle Cross-bodice and shoulder detail is quite becoming. I found one very small hole in the lace in the front skirt.
Sleeves are short with a clean cuffed finish. The fabric is crisp and structured — likely a faille or fine rayon — with just enough sheen to catch the light beautifully. Closure is a period-correct Talon zipper, consistent with early 1950s construction throughout.

The color of this shirt is best seen in the 2nd photo. The piping is in a burgandy. The pearl buttons on the front and cuffs are also in a burgnady color.
Teeny, tiny hole on the back train (see close up pic). Tiny stain on the bottom hem (see close up pic). shoulder to shoulder (outside hem) 15″. Stitching on the top of the bodice looks like it may have been re-tacked at one point, but clearly professionally done.
