From the late 1940s or early 1950s, a silk party dress with alternating bands of mauve pink and cream lace. Beautiful mauve pink color, with allover ruched effect. waist: 26″/66cm (fits my 26.5-27″ waist but not my ribs).
I am unsure of fabric content. I believe it’s what you call a lined Organza fabric. There are a few minor nips in the fabric(probably from cigarettes back in the day) ..I have not laundered the item and I leave that to the buyer. Measurements are listed above.
Incredible late 40s early 50s formal gown dress. Wear it to your wedding or for a special occasion! The lining appears to be rayon. Dress is missing one button and has another that is loose. I would describe the color as a pale cream.

Starlite of Miami vintage shift style dress. So CUTE!! Mid Century modern in style, Striped cotton (? no materials tag) material, well made, dress wraps and buttons down the front left. Length is just above knee on most. Important to review measurements in photos as there is no size tag and vintage sizes are different than todays. There is a small yellow stain on the front, dress is wrinkles from storage, review photos. Buyer to remedy, sold as is/ as shown. I believe this to be a small or x-small, REVIEW THOSE MEASUREMENTS! Draped cowled neckline falls in back to a deep vee at the derrière and coccyx bone. Remove and reinforce with existing fabric. Also, gown should be professionally pressed. It has history, was, most likely, lovingly worn and cared for and endured far more years than most of us – in most cases 60 to 100 plus years.
