Made from fine, semi-sheer cotton lawn or batiste. Bodice features a modest collar banded with lace matching the bodice inserts. Antique white cotton lawn dress featuring extensive lace insertions, dating from the late Edwardian era (circa 1910–1915).
Antique Edwardian 2 piece ivory linen walking dress set, c. 1910s. A few pinhead sized spots – one on back of jacket, one on chest area, and a few tiny dots on skirt. There is also a small very faint stain on skirt near waistband.
Designer is Bobbie Brooks, ILGWU label. Rich dark green with a garden rose print. ✂️ No size label. For reference, dress form is an XS and dress fits perfectly. (Which does not detract). The fabric is a crisp cotton blend organdy, very nice quality.
Dress can be worn on or off the shoulders. Cotton & Polyester Blend.
