Hello, here is a Vintage 1960’s mod style light weight knit shirt dress size 16. It is cream & lime green in color with a green strip & tabs and cream colored cloth buttons. The fabric on this dress is in nice condition no rips or pulls. It does have a bit of discoloration around the neck, end of sleeves, and end of hem. The bust is 20” pit to pit, the waist is 18” side to side, the hips are 20” side to side, and the length is approximately 29” from top of color to hem. It has bin packed away for a long time. It is not bad. Please look at photographs for further details, thank you.
Really interesting ca. 1960s dress in a cheongsam style (high collar, side slits) fashioned from an antique Victorian paisley shawl Closes up the back with hooks and eyes as well as along the left side seam Definitely home made based on some of the sewing choices Shows a small horizontal tear along the right sleeve (pictured) Lined in an acetate Some fraying on the inner back of the collar 34” bust, 34” waist, 40” hips, 49” shoulder to hem This is a vintage item, and as with any vintage item it has imperfections. I have attempted to list them all here, however, please treat this item with the care you would treat something 50+ years old. If you wish for an item that behaves like new, please go buy something new instead.
This black 1940’s taffeta ball gown is a dream! The skirt has boning which gives it a beautiful 1880’s-like shape. Cute cap sleeves and ruffled detail. Talon metal side zipper. Slight discoloration on the side of the dress bodice (see photos). Small hole on back of dress on right side (see photo). White inner piping structure is exposed at a small point on skirt on back of dress (see photo). The dress is very wearable and strong. Great vintage condition. It deserves to be seen! Measurements taken flat and doubled when appropriate: Bust: 34″ MAX (the bust does not have much give. Maybe best for 32″-33″) Waist: 24″ MAX Hips: Free Arm Openings: 11″ Length of dress from waist: 40″
There is a small mark on the right shoulder strap and upper clasp hook is missing above the zipper. Shoulder to hem 57.5″. Pit to Pit 16″.
