This black 1940's taffeta ball gown is a dream! The skirt has boning which gives it a beautiful 1880's-like shape. Cute cap sleeves and ruffled detail. Talon metal side zipper. Slight discoloration on the side of the dress bodice (see photos). Small hole on back of dress on right side (see photo). White inner piping structure is exposed at a small point on skirt on back of dress (see photo). The dress is very wearable and strong. Great vintage condition. It deserves to be seen! Measurements taken flat and doubled when appropriate: Bust: 34" MAX (the bust does not have much give. Maybe best for 32"-33") Waist: 24" MAX Hips: Free Arm Openings: 11" Length of dress from waist: 40"
